This book was hauntingly familiar when I came across it as a teacher and I realised that I must've had it read to me when I was at school.

Julian just can't resist a taste of the wonderful lemon pudding his father has made. But as he and his little brother, Huey, taste just a little bit more, the pudding is suddenly all gone! And Julian is in trouble...

It's a spellbinding book with some lovely stories that really provoke the imagination. We did a huge amount of work on the short stories and the class loved them so much that I managed to track down import versions of some of the other tales about Julian and Huey.
