'Stories for Thinking' by Robert Fisher

This book contains 30 multi-cultural stories for KS2 children. There's a nice collection here that can be used for assemblies or class lessons. Each story is presented together with some discussion questions as well as ideas for further activities. There's also a detailed introduction which gives you some ideas of how to use the stories and how to structure your sessions.
