Google and it's various free products get lots of mentions on this website but it's hardly my fault that they're taking over the world! Primary Teacher UK has put up some details about the competition Google UK is running (for students between 4 and 18) to design a Google logo that represents what it means to be British today. The prizes include goody bags, framed doodles, interactive whiteboards and a trip to San Francisco to work with the official Google logo designer. Oh, the winning design will also be featured on the Google UK homepage for 24hrs and be seen by approximately 18 million people! Check out the link at the top of the page for more details on how to get your school involved.
