Contrasting Locality Photos

I've just added a great collection of photographs of Margate by Dave Walsh to the Primary Resources photo section. I should imagine they'll be a really useful resource if you're studying a contrasting UK locality in Geography.

If you've got similar photographs of your local area then please feel free to send them in. I know that other teachers will find them very helpful.

Email Issues

I seem to experiencing some issues receiving email through my Primary Resources address this weekend. Apologies to anyone who has had their messages bounced back.

New Photos

I've just added ten new pictures of classroom displays to the site's photograph section. My thanks go to Julie Lewis for sending them in,

Although I know that there are quite a few places to share photographs of your displays online, I still get lots of requests from site users for more examples to be included on Primary Resources. So, if you could spare the time to take some pictures of what's up in your classroom and send them in then I'm sure the photographs would be very useful to other teachers.

Site Update: 18th January 2008

Hi everyone! Welcome to the first update of 2008. Sorry it's a little later than usual... I've been busy adjusting to a new daily routine, juggling work on the site with looking after a very active one year old. :)

I've added 50 new resources to the main website this week and 12 new images to the photograph section. Full details are given here. Thanks to everyone who sent in contributions over the Christmas break. I've still got quite a lot of emails to look through but please feel free to send in any more that you'd like to share with teachers all around the world.

Happy New Year & Welcome Back

A belated Happy New Year to you all and welcome back to everyone who is returning to school after the holidays.

Things should start to get back to normal on all the Primary Resources sites this week. Primary Cartoons has been updating throughout the Christmas break. I'm hoping to add new material to the main Primary Resources website and get the links section back up and running soon.

Any updates, however, may be a little erratic this month as I'll be juggling working on the site with looking after our daughter.
