Work inspired by Klee

Ancient Greece

We used a Klee painting as an inspiration for this view of Ancient Greece. The children worked in different groups producing tonal bars. Some worked on the main background, using brusho on the very large piece of paper. Others used chalk and black paper. The rest used standard ready-mix paint. The children cut shapes out of their work to create the final work. They looked at the shapes used in Ancient Greek architecture.
