The Internet can be a great asset to the Primary teacher, not
just in the classroom but also a help when it come to
planning. This site is just one of the many teaching resources
sites on the Internet. It contains a bank of free, ready to
use ideas, resources, worksheets and lesson plans. They're available
for you to use with your class at no cost whatsoever (except
the cost of your connection to the Internet!).
This
site was opened in November 1998 and originally started out as
a small collection of some of the worksheets I'd created for use
in school. During the next year I started putting on material
from other teachers and since then the site has grown to offer
many thousands of worksheets and lesson ideas sent in from teachers
from around the UK and the rest of the world. (See this page for more details)
To view the material simply click on the appropriate subject link in
the menu bar on the left hand side of the screen. You can find more information about the file types (and the programs you'll need to open them) on this page of the website.
This site is usually updated weekly during UK term times. You can subscribe
to my site's mailing list if you want to know when I've added
new resources (and what resources I've added). It's also worth keeping an eye on our Primary Resources blog which features news and links to other sites of interest.
I
hope that you find plenty of things on this site that's useful
to you. I always appreciate feedback. You can discuss teaching issues, request help and share useful websites in the Primary Resources forums.
If you find Primary Resources useful then please visit this page to learn how you can support the site.
If you have any more questions about the site then check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page.
Best wishes,
