The Travel Game
Idea contributed by Susan Aucoin

Susan writes: "I play the travel game with my students to encourage them to learn math facts. Materials flashcards (add., sub., mult., or div.) The first student on the first row stands next to the second student on that row. I flash the card. The student who answers correctly "travels" to the next person on the row. The student who did not answer correctly sits in desk he or she stood next to. We play for a specified amount of time. The student who "travels" around the room the most is the winner."
