I took in a bag full of cuddly toys for my German, French and Spanish Clubs. You can play all sorts of games i.e.:
give 2 toys to each student and they have to ask each other 'Hast Du das Pferd?' - 'Ja, ich habe das Pferd.' - 'Gib mir bitte das Pferd' - 'Danke' oder ' Nein ich habe das Pferd nicht.'
or
place the animals in a row or pile and ask: 'Wo ist der Hund?' - 'Der Hund ist neben der Katze unter der Eule.' etc.

or make up a deck of Happy Family cards. My students love them. We also used the English cards and translated them into the languages."'
