'Les Nombres'
ideas contributed by Janet Holyoak

Janet writes: 'I have used number/word flashcards (click here for examples) laminated back-to back in a variety of situations:

(1) to reinforce numbers visually as children count orally

(2) blu-tacked onto whiteboard with some numbers, some words showing. Children read aloud the sequence of numbers displayed. This enables them to reinforce the link between the french written word, number and spoken word.

(3) "Qu'est-ce qui manque?" ("What's missing?") game: blu-tack flashcards onto board and children identify (in French) the missing number.'
