'Numbers'
idea contributed by Sally Benwell

Sally writes:1 Steal the big number mats from the infants! (preferably coloured ones - then you can use colour vocab too)
2 Each child stands on a number - or in pairs - so you can easily learn up to 30 or so .
3 Play music - when it stops children stand on nearest number.
4 Either say number in English - owner of the number responds in target language eg "7" "Yo tengo siete".........."Siete es amarillo" etc
5 Ring the changes by reversing - say the number in Spanish or ask "Quien tiene un numero que es azul?"
6 Can make more complicated by playing to eliminate "Los que tienen un numero que es mas que 10, sentaos!"'
